About the event
The Wonka is hosted by Wonderland Bar and promises to bring back only the fondest memories of the 1971 childhood classic.
Expect scenes taken straight from the movie as you are ushered through the whimsical gate entrance with your golden ticket. Cocktail hour promises to greet you with sights and sounds that could only be expected - the unforgettable fresh green grass, tables adorned with rainbow lollipops and edible delights and even an oompa looma or two. There is a surprise waiting for you around every corner.
Will you find an everlasting gobstopper, giant gummy bears or maybe a classic Wonka Bar? You can try your hand at creating some classic Wonka themed cocktails and fizzy lifting drinks. There are sure to be some cocktails and candy that trick the taste buds, maybe you'll be the lucky one to try square candies that look round, or cavity-filling caramels.
Your golden ticket starts from $40 (early bird) and includes 90 minutes access to Wonka's and creation of two bespoke candy cocktails and some of Wonka's most famous sweet treats.
