You may wonder what the benefits are, but the absence of distractions promotes the idea that eating in the dark heightens diner's senses making for a more pleasurable experience. The focus is instead on taste, smell, mouthfeel and sound, as well as promoting the art of conversation.
Diners will enter a warmly lit room, and will be accompanied by waiters and seated before being blindfolded and plunged into total darkness to enjoy this unique culinary experience.
There will be 2 available main dish options (meat or vegetarian) and although the menu is secret, dietary requirements and allergies can be catered for. Diners will also be able to order their favourite drinks to accompany their food before entering the dark dining room.
Each dining experience lasts 90 minutes, giving diners ample time to get comfortable with their new surroundings and enjoy a delicious three course meal, blindfolded. The 'Pitch Black' event will run on select dates only and pre-booking is essential.

DO I HAVE TO CHOOSE THE MENU?
No, there is a set mystery menu only. Please let us know your food restrictions due to allergies/religion/health reasons etc. and we will make the alterations as necessary.
DO YOU SERVE VEGETARIAN FOOD?
Yes, we do. Simply let us know whether you are a vegetarian/vegan, and we will modify the menu accordingly.
HOW LONG WILL I BE IN THE DARK?
Our standard dining duration is approximately 90 minutes.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M UNCOMFORTABLE AND WANT TO LEAVE?
If the atmosphere does become uneasy for you, you can ask your waiter to take you outside to calm yourself or you can continue your meal in a lit area of the venue.
WHAT IF I NEED TO USE THE BATHROOM DURING DINNER?
You can ask your waiter to take you outside the dining room. The bathrooms are lit and you can go back to the dining room afterwards with the help of your waiter.
WHAT ABOUT DRINK SERVICE?
If you require drinks during meal service you can ask your waiter.
Anyone who is not adhering to these rules will immediately be asked to leave and will not be issued a refund.
